Or Else

I really liked this short story, I both connected with David while completely loathing him. I understood what it was to just have lies pour out of your mouth with out the ability to stop it. But at the same time I did not like the lengths he went to be a part of a family that did not want him. His love for them has completely crippled his ability to survive in the world. The character that I found the least believable was the girlfriend that he brought up to the cabin. I do not see how she just accepted all of the lies he had told and was content with that. I also wondered if he had planned to be at the cabin when it was likely that a family member would show up just so that he could interact with them. The story was very interesting and desolate at the same time.
